Protecting the Past with Today’s Best Termite Pest Technology in Fort Worth TX; the Sentricon Termite Colony Elimination System
The Amon Carter Museum of Western Art was established in 1961 and is located in Fort Worth Texas. In 2011 it was renamed the Amon Carter Museum of American Art. The museum was established by Amon G. Carter, who earned his fortune by establishing holdings in publishing, radio, television, oil, and aviation. The museum’s collection focuses primarily on 19th and early-to-mid 20th Century American art. The collection includes works from renowned artists including Alexander Calder, Thomas Cole, Stuart Davis, Winslow Homer, Georgia O’Keeffe and Alfred Stieglitz. The building also houses substantial photographic and archival collections along with a research library that contains approximately 150,000 items which focus on American art, history, and culture. With such priceless collections of art and historical items comes the responsibility of carefully preserving them for future generations. Safe and environmentally friendly pest control plays an important role in protecting buildings and the items they contain. Of particular concern in Texas is termite control.
